Length
75-90 minutes from start to finish
Response In Worship
People worship in different ways and that’s a value for us. You can feel comfortable worshiping in your way without feeling out of place…stand, sit, sing, raise your hands, kneel. This is a freedom that is characterized by sensitivity to others and a genuine heart of worship.
Dress
Casual, neat and relaxed is most common. You certainly don't need to wear a suit and tie, however you if you want to dress up, feel free.
Preaching / Teaching Style
Biblical, pastoral and prophetic, aimed at what God is saying to the church today. Mostly messages focus on being practical but also engaging. Teaching is usually 25-35 minutes in length.
Facilities
Basic and functional. We don’t have a "churchy" feel. We try to be family friendly, with great programs for kids of all ages.
Punctuality
We recognize that people’s time is valuable. Even with our relaxed atmosphere, we do all we can to start and finish our meetings on time.

David and JoAnn Baird are the founding pastors of The Life Church. David has been in ministry for over 30 years and brings a wealth of experience to his role of leading this growing congregation. He is the President of the Washington International Network which provides leadership to churches worldwide. David is known around the world for his dynamic preaching which began when, as a teenager, he memorized the entire New Testament. JoAnn and David have been married since 1985 and they live in Gainesville. JoAnn serves as the church's Ministries Coordinator. They have three children: Joshua, Jordan and Justin. All three sons serve with them in ministries at The Life Church.
